On a cold winter afternoon of January 25th 1975, a new life entered the world. In Madison Wisconsin. Things changed.  Someone was able to call another a brother for the first time. A first breath. And "You ain't seen nothing yet" by Bachman Turner Overdrive was number 33 on the charts

I guess what really changed my life, was when my older brother brought me to his gaming group.  I was able to get my first taste of Role-playing Games. Board games, and the silliness that usually is only found in gamers.  R.O.O.S.A.P (Rural Order of Strange Acting People) became a part of my life.  From playing a mutant raccoon, to a Space fighter Pilot, to a Vulcan on a Galaxy Exploration Vessel, In those games I was someone better, someone different.

The Second event that defined me, at the age of 13 was my first interest in something outside of school.  I wanted to take Martial Arts classes.  This was really the first time my parents let me choose to do something major in my life.  I will never forget it.  After 4 years, many bumps and bruises, I received a Black Belt at Karate America. Later Did teaching of the Martial arts, more training and Received my 2nd degree in 1996.

Last change is a more recent and dynamic one. In the summer of 2000 a friend I had been chatting to on the internet decided to come visit me.  She left Canada with a girlfriend crossed the border, and arrived in Madison.  I had very strong feelings for her at the time. And was very excited to meet her.  Becca and I had chatted at Length about religion.  I was unchurched Agnostic. And had a hard time believing in organized religion.  Mainly because of all the different ways people interpitted the Bible.  One evening we had a very important discussion.  At one point in the conversation I realized everything I had done before was wrong.  And as I was deeply distressed (okay, I was bawling my head off) I turned to God for help.  He was there and calmed me.  I started going to a nearby church, and the pastor helped me study the bible and guide me.  And the holy spirit took a firm hold of me.  Soon I became a church leader, and now sit on the steering committee of my church.  Change can happen, and this has been a major one.  Peace be with you all

What am I doing now? With the Lords help, getting through life.  Playing and Promoting Mage-knight, surfing the Web, and looking for answers until I arrive in heaven
